Learn the versatile dutch spiral beading technique in order to make a unique and beautiful bracelet. This course will cover the fundamentals of the beading technique including how to start and increase the spiral, the importance of thread tension, working the spiral, adding thread, decreasing and finishing the spiral and attaching the clasp. As you learn and work the technique, you will discover the wonderful rhythmic nature and fluid feel of the dutch spiral pattern. For your bracelet, you will need 1 tube each of 5 different seed beads in a variety of sizes (8/0 and smaller) and colors, two larger beads that will be used on the inside of the work, fine beading thread, a beading needle (I use size 12 beadsmith sharps) scissors, needle nose pliers, a small amount of flexwire and four crimping beads.  A list of these supplies is available in the shop as well as a list of the colors and sizes of beads used in the sample pieces.
